Guns save lives

I just read Pat Murphy's little rant in the paper concerning concealed weapons. Near the end of the column, he talked about it being peculiar to carry a concealed weapon in a restaurant. A couple of years ago, an off-duty policeman had a "concealed weapon" in a restaurant, in Trolley Square in Salt Lake City, and used it to stop a situation that could have been a lot worse than it turned out. I trust the Americans who "carry" more than the anti-gun people who believe that the cops can protect us all. Like the man says, "If you want to find out about life after death, just try and break into my house."
